Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy applies to Awtici on iPhone and Apple Watch, including its Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, StandBy experience, and Apple Watch complications. Awtici is provided by Ala Ben Yahia under the Grabur Apps name.

Data stored by Awtici

Countdown titles, dates, icons, categories, favorites, archive state, and app settings are stored locally on your devices. Awtici does not operate a user-account system or developer-controlled backend.

Immutable snapshots are shared only between Awtici's own iPhone app, widgets, Apple Watch app, and complications through Apple's App Group and WatchConnectivity technologies. The Apple Watch app retains its latest valid snapshot locally so countdowns remain available offline. Version 1.0 does not use CloudKit or iCloud sync.

Countdown content is not sent to Grabur Apps or RevenueCat. Awtici contains no advertising SDKs or general-purpose product analytics and does not use your data for advertising, profiling, or tracking across apps or websites.

Subscriptions and RevenueCat

Optional Awtici Pro purchases are processed by Apple. Awtici uses RevenueCat, Inc. as a service provider to retrieve subscription offers, validate App Store transactions, restore purchases, manage Pro access, prevent fraud, and understand subscription performance.

For these purposes, the RevenueCat SDK processes purchase and subscription information, the Apple receipt, an automatically generated anonymous App User ID, and limited technical information such as device type, operating system, and when the app was last seen. Awtici does not provide RevenueCat with your name, email address, countdown content, payment-card details, billing address, Apple ID credentials, or advertising identifier.

RevenueCat processes this information on behalf of Grabur Apps in the United States and may use its own service providers. It does not inherently use purchase history to track users across apps for advertising. Learn more in the RevenueCat Privacy Policy. Apple may retain transaction records under its own privacy and legal obligations.

Device permissions

Awtici may request system permission only when you initiate a feature that needs it, such as importing an event from Calendar or enabling countdown notifications. Apple manages these permissions, and you can change them at any time in system Settings.

Awtici does not use permission-derived information for advertising, analytics, profiling, or tracking.

Data retention and deletion

Because Awtici stores countdown data locally and has no developer account or backend, you control retention by editing or deleting countdowns or by uninstalling the app. Removing the app does not necessarily delete subscription records retained by Apple or RevenueCat. They may retain information as needed to provide the subscription service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud.

To request access to or deletion of subscription-related information processed by RevenueCat on behalf of Grabur Apps, contact us at graburapps@gmail.com. We will pass the request to RevenueCat where required, subject to legal retention obligations.

Contacting support

If you email Grabur Apps, the email address and information you voluntarily include are used only to respond to your request and maintain necessary support correspondence. They are not used for advertising or tracking.

Children

Awtici is not directed specifically at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. The canonical policy is always available at graburapps.com/awtici/privacy.
